ANEW
In a time between no longer and not yet, Anew is an attempt to set a new agenda, cherishing the beauty of the imperfect.
The project is an aspiring example of the possibilities, giving new life to discarded fabrics from the textile industry and making use of local production.
With hand-painted upscaled patterns, and textile techniques such as sublimation print, pleating, patchwork and quilting, I deconstruct the discarded materials, and explore and shape new expressions.
This is the first drop.
